Heesoo was a summer resident at the Archie Bray Foundation for Ceramic Arts in 2013 and returned in the fall of 2014 as a long-term resident artist. She is currently a full time studio artist in Helena, MT. ARTIST STATEMENT Heesoo Lee’s work explores the vulnerability of the human condition through the metaphor of the natural world.

She crafts three-dimensional pieces that have her signature warm and cold colors to evoke specific moods from the viewers of her pieces.
